Execution Latency
The lag between a decision being made and the organization measurably behaving differently.
A decision has no value until behaviour changes. Latency is where strategy quietly fails — not in the choice, but in the interval after it.
The interval has structure: translation into owned work, resource reallocation, sequencing conflicts with existing commitments, and the absence of a date on which the decision is checked.
Reducing latency is usually less about urgency and more about specificity: one owner, one first action, one review date.
