COGNIVARA™ Framework
Executive Judgment
The capacity to decide well under ambiguity, incomplete information, and irreversible consequence.
Judgment is often treated as a personal trait. It behaves more like a practice: it improves with feedback, structure, and exposure to disconfirming evidence — and degrades without them.
The practical work is unglamorous. Write the expected outcome before deciding. Name what would prove you wrong. Set the date you will check. Invite dissent while it can still change the decision.
An organization that reviews reasoning rather than results builds judgment. One that reviews only results builds caution.
